Unofficial mains charger

My GF ran over my mains charger cable with the vacume at the weekend, so i ordered i new one from Ebay. Rather stupidly (as an "official" one would only be

What matters is the voltage, if both use the 5.5v you should be ok. 500mA is like charging over USB it will be slower but it will work.

The official one is 5V, the new unoffical one is 5.5V, so its 0.5 Volts more. Is this a problem?
