unpleasant speaker sound when adjusting volume :/

yuck!

was just altering the volume while playing tunes through the speakers and it made a less than pleasing sound :/ ... sort of like a skip/falter in the play back would be closest match

....another fault? :/

Not here. I play music from my device/ stream audio for long periods every day and have yet to have any audio issues with my M8. It is unfortunate you are having a lot of sound issues with multiple devices. Can you reproduce the issue? Perhaps we can try to recreate the problem so we can isolate what is causing it.

Please let us know what you were playing, audio quality of the track, sound level, app used to play music? Hopefully we can help you sort this out so yo can enjoy your device!

many thanks - your questions made me think the issue through some more
it was my Poweramp app :/ tried same action through stock music app and ok
....phew! im not sure i could cope with swapping the phone again!
