Help Unplugged while updating, stopped working

Lurker
Hey there,

Got the LG G2 Kitkat update today, was updating while connected to my PC but the software on my PC kept on saying that there were issues updating, and the update needed to restart. Retried 5 times, gave up, unplugged even though the screen on my phone said I shouldn't (LG software was not responding to 'cancel').

Seems to have been a bad idea (who would have guessed? not the smartest thing, I know, patience issues), now the only thing that pops up when booting is the LG logo, then a black screen.

-> Tried to factory reset but it doesnt do anything (does ask to factory reset, but then: black screen).

-> Tried to go in download mode, but that doesn't work either (black screen).

-> Tried troubleshooting with LG software on PC, but PC doesnt recognize device, and asks me to format multiple drives when I plug the thing (didnt do that).

Can anyone help me? Really want to check out kitkat, and a functioning phone, naturally...

Bring the phone to one of your carrier's tech support locations (ask the nearest store where the nearest center is), tell them that you got the update and it seems to have messed th phone up and could they please reflash it for you.

(Unless, of course, you downloaded the update yourself, and were trying to install it yourself. Then thy may help you, but they may charge you.)
