Help Unresponsive touch screen

I have been living without access to my V and G keys in portrait for a while, can't use swype because it thinks I pulled my finger from the screen, so swiftkey it is. My camera button also is less than responsive some times. But more importantly my entire screen become unresponsive during phone calls a lot of the time. If I do nto return to the home screen while I am on a call no amount of touching will end the call or do anything. If I turn the screen off and back on it goes right to the phone screen, no slide to unlock. I can end the call by plugging in headphones wiht a call buttona nd pressing that. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am at my wits end with this phone. I have had it since release day, warrentied it once because I kept dropping my data connection. The other people I know that own it have not had these issues. I am getting jealous of my GF's RAZR Maxx and annoyed by her constant battery level comparison.

You could always try a factory reset to see if that helps. If not, the next thing that comes to mind is your digitizer (i think that's what it's called) could be going bad.
