Root Unrevoked3 - Failed to kill ADB Service

Trying to root my HTC Desire with unrevoked3. Went through all of the steps, installed HBOOT drivers, seemed to work fine. When I start Unrevoked3, however, I get the message "failed to kill adb service" in the white window. I've tried a few different tutorials, all end up with this message. Any ideas?

Go into Task Manager in Windows and if there is the process 'adb' listed close the process and try again
