Root Unroot Help

Okay I am going to unroot my dad's Epic 4g, but I don't want it to mess up my phone like it did to my phone.

Should I just plug the Epic 4g back into my computer and run that program again?

I guess it depends why you are unrooting the phone.

If you want to revert back to stock for whatever reason, (i.e. phone replacement, issues since root, etc.) then you would probably want to flash with Odin.

This could also be done if you screw something up when flashing custom ROMS, etc...

If you simply want to unroot (remove Super User permissions), you can try the method you posted.

wonder if the su password can be changed to something that isnt knows to him and have it ask permission every time requiring a password

can you do that with these phones?

"$su passwd" in terminal will that work?
