If you are on Cyanogen then you must be alrerady rooted..
They want to unroot.
If you go back to stock rom I am pretty sure I saw an unroot option somewhere in there, not sure as I haven't done it though.
Go back to your stock ROM (hope you took a backup before flashing). If you had to change your baseband for this ROM, you'll have to change it back to the old baseband (If you didn't do anything like that, ignore it). Refer your original rooting guide - it usually has instructions for unrooting. If you rooted usiong some app like Gingerbreak, it has an option to unroot, so just install it again, and click on unroot.
If nothing works and you still want to unroot, follow this thread, but only as a last resort.

I know the thread says "How to unbrick" but it works at any screen regardless of whether you are bricked or not. If something goes wrong, your phone can get permanently bricked, so follow this thread at your own risk.
