unroot question

I read this and understand the process, wanting to unroot just to get the update out the way (unless theres a way to manulyaly install it while still rooted), the question i have is when it says "just like it was when you got it from Boost." is that in factory default, or as in all my apps and such are there, just liek it is now? all apps and setting still in place.

It will be just like brand new, you will have to reinstall your apps and redo your mods if you were using any.

ah, well is there a way to install the update while its still rooted, i found it in the cache folder. i know its not really a big update, just more of wanting to learn for future ones.

the update is just a security update to FL24. We have had unroot for a long time, the repository has the stock ROM for our phone. You could also get the updated FL24 from there.

but is there a way to install the update itself ? ill un root if needed, but just wanna know before i do, ams whats the link to the most up todate stock rom, and can i be rooted by the guide here after?
