Root Unroot?

I have searched and am trying to find a simple way to unroot before I send my phone back to verizon for warranty (charging port is loose). Should I even bother with it or does it need to be back to stock first? Can someone point me to a walkthrough please?

I believe you need the stock ruu and a bootloader with s-on to flash over top of the s-off boot loader. I don't know if there's any automated or documented way to do that.

I've never heard anyone report that Verizon has rejected a return because it was rooted but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

1 i have had to pay for a new phone because i was dumb and didnt unroot. 2 check the bottom of the ROM thread (the thread is stickied) for a step by step to go back to normal. *only if you used AlphaRevX

This worked on Revolution. I followed the steps and it put me at 2.2.1 with S-ON. I was at 2.3.3 with S-OFF. I did a check for software update and it found one which applied like normal putting me at 2.3.3 S-ON.

It took root away as well. Back to completely stock.
