Root Unrooting and saving data

Hey this is my first post, I have my first droid (a Droid 2 Global) its really great. My only real problem with it is that I have stupid apps I don't want but Verizon says I can't get rid of unless I root my phone, which would mean voiding my warranty.

What I wanted to know is there a way to root my phone, delete the bloatware and then unroot it without loosing the saved data, or at least not bringing back the bloatware. Most of what I read said that it just brings it back to the way it was new (factory settings was the word most used), which would mean the bloatware would come back correct?

Download Z4 Root [APP] z4root - xda-developers
Uninstall/rename/freeze any apps that you don't want.
Stay rooted.
If you ever have an issue and need warranty service, use Z4 to unroot. You will not lose any data this way.

I would not recommended uninstalling anything. Instead, use a tool like Titanium Backup (Pay Version) to freeze the apps you do not want. This makes them inoperable, they will not show up in your app drawer and will not run. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&feature=search_result

You can also use an app like Astro file manager to go in and rename any of the application files so that they can not run.

When Verizon released the last update, you could not get it if you had removed anything, thats why I recommend freezing.
