Root Unrooting Lg ally HELP!

Ok so I am running stormdroid 2.0 rom how can i unroot my lg ally? I'm upgrading phones and giving this phone to a friend so how can i unroot it from stormdroid my phones says I'm running 4.0 even though I'm its not.. i think its just part of the rom. anyone help??
 
It's a joke the 4.0 part. Its actually 2.2.2. To unroot, try to install super SU and click unroot. I would try that
 
if failing to flash a stock rom or nandroid you have 2 options

1. Flash velocity, its as stock looking and acting as you get. If a friend is using it than explain to them this is what you did. Just say you "updated" it.
2. Difficult but a second option that ive never used myself. One of the threads here instruct users how to reflash the ally completely to stock using the lg flash tool. cons to this...you might break the radio.
 
I did flash velocity yesterday, but I am trying to get stock rom because I am getting a new phone on Friday and I don't want Verizon to see I rooted it. I can flash velocity and stormdroid easily and create a nanroid backup and flash that, but when I try to download the nanroid of 2.2.2 I go to flash and It says cant update script.
 
if their not taking the device back than dont worry bout it lol. I work with verizon and most of us are die hard flashers so their not all scary as you think ;)
