Unrooting

I bought a Samsung Infuse from someone on Craigslist a couple of months ago. He did a factory reset, but the root was still left on the phone. The phone works great. I am not that tech savy, and I wish for my phone to be unrooted so I can get my phone updated to gingerbread. Anyone with any ideas?

try upgrading via kies first! if it works then no worries if it doesnt then ill give you a link and instructions!

Being rooted won't prevent updating, as long as root priviledge wasn't used to remove or freeze pre-installed apps or services. Also, your root access will be gone after the update anyway... so, problem solved!
