Help Unsent SMS

It happend now several times that an outbound SMS remained stuck in the phone with an error, but without any notification. There is just the red "x" next to it and it's not possible to resend it (option not available). It's status in the "status report" is "pending". So unless I go into the SMS app, I won't notice the problem.

I've never had this issue with my previous droid phone on the same network. In the very rare case in which there was a sending error (most likely due to lack of coverage), the phone would just retry automatically until successful.

Any ideas?

You could try closing the messages app in the task switcher. Long press home and swipe the messages app off the screen to close it.

Restarting an app often causes it to trigger any pending tasks etc.

Thanks, good idea. But I still need to be warned that the message wasn't sent in the first place, otherwise I'll have to keep on looking at the sms app to check if everything is fine... Am I the only one with this problem?

check ur message server(service number) . If it haven't , can't sent anyone but can receive sms or mms .
