Just out of curiosity, what App is that where the Chinese Characters are appearing? That will give us a clue where to start looking, and maybe Mike will see this and can tell us what the Characters say, that would be a HUGE help for sure!

Yeah, wait until Mike's had a look :)

Don't assume it's a virus: Very, very few oddities on android phones are malware, yet for some reason it seems to be the first thing people think of when they see something unexpected. ;). You have a Chinese phone, and if Chinese "badges" are appearing on app icons it's probably a feature of the launcher app (as that's what draws the desktop), or maybe the app store (if that isn't the Play Store).

I can see it says download. Did these things just appear on the home-screen? Sounds like some adware got installed with a free app or game probably. Are you using Lenovo's own app store or Google Play?

Lenovo P700 is a Chinese phone, and was only officially available in Asia.

Sounds like some adware for sure now that you mention it Mike, but as long as there is no rocket ship we are good for right now!!! Lol.:D

I don't recognize the blue icon. These are shortcuts to downloads, that likely appeared when some adware app or game was installed. Google Play prohibits this. So possibly could have come from Lonovo's own app store or somewhere else. If you hold your finger on them, should be able to move them straight to trash. If you've still got the adware installed, they could still appear at any time. Uninstalling the offending app will clear it.

I was using google play store..so this is adware? does adware can harm your device?

Mike is the expert on Chinese "anything" around here, so he can say if it's actually adware or not. What I can tell you is that true adware isn't a virus, and

can't really harm your phone, it's actually more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'd still find the apps and uninstall them to be on the safe side. This should help you out.

Just so you are clear, adware as it were usually comes "included" in a normal app and basically is just that, "ads" for something that someone is trying to sell you. They are more of a nuisance than anything else.
Hello everyone,
I was also use google play store. So this is adware?

The way this scheme usually works is that you get a collection of widgets from the manufacturer or your carrier - you touch one and it downloads the app from their source, not the Play Store, and it'll have some advertising embedded in it.

Do you have Firefox installed from the Play Store?

If not, Firefox had no part in the shortcut on your home screen.

The blue icon with the red "flag" is Facebook Messenger.

It could also be part of the launcher if the OP is using a third party one. I know Go used to have this kind of stuff (icons with the "download" flag on it) when you first run it.
