Let me just start off by saying,this is probably one of the worst phones I've ever used. Probably not because of the phone itself, but more or less due to MetroPCS's love of bloatware.
Anywhore, I tried SuperOneClick,as it seemed fairly standard among rooters and also fairly simple.
I turned on USB Debugging,allowed unknown apps,and unmounted the SD Card.
I then fired it up,and clicked on root...went well up until step 7. It just stays there and keeps saying it's "Waiting for device".
"Well,bollocks!" I screamed angrily, tearing the hair from my scalp. I then scoured around the internet and saw that I had to run Shell Root first...duh.
I tried, and it won't even get as far as the normal root option. Just hangs at "Daemon started".
I dunno what to do.
Have any of you unfortunate owners of this sack of crap ever gotten around this issue?Sure wasn't hard to root my Tab 2..
