Unsync my contacts

Hi All,

I am having a problem with android cell. When I create a contact list, I am told my contacts are phone-only unsynced. When I try to use Google play store to download a product, I have to create an account. When I do , my cell automatically syncs this account with everything on my phone. Particularly my contact list.

I do NOT WANT my contact list to be synched with this account, basically I prefer to keep my contacts phone-only unsynced. Is there a way to achieve this and still have an account to use with the store only?

Yeah mate, in settings, under where it says "accounts", tap "google", tap your gmail address then uncheck contacts

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately I tried that before I contacted this forum. Nothing is checked. Technically, I am not supposed to be ' synced " with anything. But it is doing it automatically anyway.

I actually found out on my own how to do it..

1. Go to settings

2. Apps

3. All programs

4.Scroll down to Google Contacts Sync Adapter

5. Disable
