Help Unusual connection problem

Bought a Galaxy Tab 10.1 last week, however it keeps dropping connection to wifi in either my bedroom, or the other back bedroom. This is despite having a 2 or 3 bar wifi signal, it just will not load anything saying no internet connection.

I live in a 3 bedroom flat, it's floorplan is fairly rectangular. The wifi hub is located in the livingroom, around which is around 7-10 meters away from my bedroom.

I have never had any issues connecting on any device in my bedroom before, indeed, I am writing this from my laptop whilst sat in my bed at the moment. My phone (Galaxy S3) connects without issue, as does my partners laptop and iPad.

Any other room in the house, except the 2 furthest away ones are fine. However, like I say, the Tab still has a 2 or 3 bar wifi signal when in the bedroom. It does connect to the wifi, but I just cannot do anything with it. Move into another room and it is fine.

I find this very bizarre. Any ideas?
