An ad shortcut appeared on your homescreen. Sounds like you've installed something that uses "push advertising". There is some information about this and how to get rid of it in this thread: http://androidforums.com/android-ap...s-unwanted-shortcuts-browsers-redirected.html.
Can you just long-press the icon and delete it from your homescreen? If so that will fix it in the short term, but you'll have to identify and uninstall the app that's pushing this stuff to you to stop it (or something else) coming back again.
