What's the exact version number? The European release was 1.29.401.7, but there's apparently an RUU based on 1.29.401.8.

Just updated my unlocked one x in the UK, on T-Mobile to version 1.29.401.7. I hope this update improves the battery life

Updated to this a few hours ago now. Battery seems slightly better, but don't want to say anything too much incase I jinx it! I'll give it a few days and do a post on the, hopefully, battery improvements.

When the first ICS ROM was released for the Desire HD, in that discussion thread it took about 20-30 posts before folk realised it didn't actually work as a phone.

Man, O2 are so slow releasing their updates. I just got 1.28 yesterday. Ridiculous.

My battery life is noticeably worse since I updated too. I charged to 100% and unplugged it about an hour ago and I'm on 85% already. All I've done is send one text message and spend 5 minutes on Twitter.
