Help Update Android

Hello,

Hopefully a quick question and I apologise in advanced if this has already been asked before but I've already spent 3 hours try to do this now......

I have a Samsung GT- I5700 and want to put the latest version of android on it so that I can run whatsapp (as this needs android version 2.1 or higher).

I have downloaded Samsung's New PC studio and used upgrade mobile phone but that didn't work...

I also couldn't find any option on the phone to do it either?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Might want to try the Spica section of the forum. Might get better results. A mod or guide will move your thread there momentarily.

You can take it to your nearest Samsung service center. They will update it for no cost.
