It's 5:25pm and I get 7-8mbps still
Way better than my new F9 at 3-5mbps
when I went to the membership earlier today they tried to feed me a line of scrap telling me to leave my phone with them and I could pick it up by tomorrow night or we'd at the latest (ha fat ******* chance of that happening). They said there are 8 phones ahead of me and takes about a hour each. When I asked why they can only update 1 at a time nosepicker Johnny said"?????" That's when I began to loose it. He called security and I gave my credit card to my wife and told her to use it for my bail. I then asked the guard if he wanted to go to the er because of his stupidity. The guard was smarter than I thought, he took Johnny to the back and the mgr came out and told me they only have 1 sw upgrade program and that's why it takes so long and apologised for Johnny and I left. I'm going to the library to use their computer and try it myself. Do I always need to deal with nosepicker johnnys to keep my bill low? Oh well

Jim, the old saying goes, "You can attract more flies with honey, than you can with vinegar." That being said, I'll tell you that when I go in there, I play stupid, and act very polite. I always get what I need taken care of. The update its very easy to do. Now, from a library computer you more than likely won't be able to do that. 1. Because the computer won't let you download the update program. 2. You need to be an admin, which is why you can't download it. That's the case where I live, and I'm assuming that to be the same anywhere else. Don't get me wrong I've had some not so nice encounters with metro csr's, and I would never leave my phone with them for personal reasons.

Well you're wrong. Library computers allow downloads but wipe them when you log off. I did it with a million thanks to Mexjoker
for his step by step download links for the sw update in another thread. Also someone from the store called me to apologise and offered me some perks. So the noisy wheel.. you know. So instead of being a ostrich, speak loudly and Cary a high limit credit card.

No I'm not "wrong", here where I live they don't allow that. Like I said, more than likely you wouldn't be able to. I didn't say "absolutely not". I know the update programs very well. Most require admin privileges. Every library I've been to is the same way. You don't have to speak loudly, and "carry" a high limit card. Being polite is not being an ostrich. You obviously have sticking your head in the ground confused with being a nice person. What kind of perks did they offer you I'm curious?
Sounds like you should get that "noisy wheel" oiled. It might help you roll through life allot easier. Lol

Even if u did the update and have problems the word is to flash your backup of what baseband that came with the phone . Or you can just downgrade to the zvb . For some reason the words is that these basebands other than a zvd or zve are working with no problems i am on zvb . I had a big problem with the mms and sms , everything else works great . .
