Yea sure do. Just wondering, I noticed the issue shortly after agreeing to participate in the ICS soak test... maybe coincidence. I'll cycle my data connection and see.

Im the same here to and even after doing the partcipate test we have to follow their confidential test and posting this fail us both


"This is a confidential test under the terms of the Motorola Feedback Network. Do not post any details or information about this on any public sites."

Also i have only got the phone to say its up to date on wifi not sure why thay is.

Ah ha! Well I don't think volunteering for the feedback program as hush hush as the details about the update itself. I think we are safe...just don't go posting any details or pics about the update if you do get it.

Yeah, most of the time if I try to check for an update on LTE/3G it will tell me that the check for update is not available. Pretty much always goes through on WiFi though.

Although right now on WiFi, the blue circular saw blade just spins and it says "Checking for available update. Please wait..." and nothing ever happens.

I have had it take 10 mins on wifi but it will go.

Typically goes through almost instantly for me. This is the first time I've seen a hangup like this when checking via WiFi.

They may are phones on hold for something as they know what phones we are using (when we gave them the phones IMEI)

Thinking more about this we MAY get the update like every one else but have to report bugs and have some kind of tracking software on the phones.

That's not how it works. The soak testers usually have 1-2 days of testing and reporting before it goes out to all and that's only if no major bugs are found. The main soak test hasn't started yet, just be patient as it should start soon. The update going out to all on the rumored April 4th looks slim at this point.

Agreed, on just being patient. the fact that there is a soaktest means we are alot further then we thought we'd be. Now lets stop talking about it lol

I cannot confirm nor deny that I got the invitation 4 days ago for the soak and I am still waiting on the update. I also cannot confirm nor deny how pissed I am for not having said update. I cannot confirm nor deny that I am confused as to why I haven't received the update yet and hope that tomorrow is the last day I will have to wait to begin the soak. That is...if there were even such thing as a soak....which....I cannot confirm nor deny haha.

I read they pulled the update because of all the cheesecakers thieving the update.... Maybe that's why the invited folks can't get it?

Maybe... I dont see why they cant just let any one who wants to test the beta rom to do so as long as they give feedback on it.

Because if it is really broken and bricks phones, that would get expensive in a hurry.

Well I mean they could do the basic testing (making sure it turns on, Phone calls and Internet)
