Update dilema

I have a HTC desire HD on Orange, my friends with the same phone also have my phone on orange and they have got the new update to android 2.3.5 and sense 3.0 update. I know most updates are OTA and will come up on your phone but is there possibly a file i can download to get it, or any possible way to get the update, any help would be great, thanks.

Did you try Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates?

HTC also lets you direct download updates from their site. They may have one for your device.

Thanks for replying, and yeah i have tried both, no update comes up on the phone and its only htc sync that comes up to download on the site.
