Help Update download failure

I recently tried to update my firmware (not OS) and i was downloading it and my electricity went out, so i just cancelled the download. But my question is if i reboot my phone will it get an update failure and erase my data? Cause i don't want to do a factory reset. Assistance are appreciated.

You've not said exactly how you were updating firmware as distinct from OS. But if this was just an OTA downloaded over Wifi and you used the phone menu to cancel an incomplete download l would expect that to be the end of it. If it was interrupted then l could understand the phone getting confused, but if you pressed the cancel button there is a serious software error if it does anything other than delete what it had already downloaded.
