If you're rooted, it should work normally if installed. I don't care for these ID packs, so I'll backup and delete the app ASAP. It's just more bloatware to me.

From your link, looks like Bloatware to me. I must not get the notice because I have the service disabled that tells me to update because I'm still on V5. The V6 update failed on my phone because I am rooted with motochopper. :( Hoping I don't have to do the unbrick method before I can install KitKat this summer.

I rooted my phone with saferoot.

If you're still interested in updating to V6, robaho has a modded install that does away with the radio and recovery upgrades. That means we get to keep our rooted phones with CWM installed. I don't have it installed yet, but have loaded it onto a USB stick. Note that he isn't sure if it will affect the F3 updating to KitKat later on this year. If I get into any issues, I can always reload the first nandroid my F3 made, which is the original setup (but activated, so not really original, but close enough).

Here's the post:

and here's the link to the modded V6 download:

I have "services disabled " as well and that's why I was wondering what it was. I think it's VM skin updates? I'll just blow it off
