Help Update for Swype Keyboard

Is there a way to update the Swype keyboard that come on my phone? MyTouch 4g

My son has a newer version on his G2

Go into programs and open "Swype Installer" and follow the directions.

If it isn't there, sign up for the beta and then you can download the Swype Installer from their website through your phone browser.

Oh wait you said it came with your phone - not sure how that works sorry

Not everybody reads ALL of the forums. It works for me to get answers from more people. What's the harm in that?
