Help Update Google Wallet on VZW?

Just got an email from google saying wallet has been updated to take any credit or debit card. However, I can't seem to update mine. Anyone have an updated apk or some trick to get it from market?

They are referring to the update that came out a couple of weeks ago. I am using the most current version from a hack from XDA.
 
It works!!!! It works!!!! I was able to install Google Wallet on m Nexus!!!!! It was about 11:50p et when I saw the email on the phone. I figure it would not let me since Verizon blocks it and I chose the Play store option to install it. It took you right to the app and the "Install Button" was there. So far I have not been able to get any of the tricks to work and never messed with the hack.

So stoke now that my Nexus has it now! I have a Nexus 7 that had Google wallet installed already, but I don't see carrying that around to pay on the go too much.

12:20p et- I just check the Play store on my phone and I was still unable to find the App directly. So try using the email link:

What tricks are you referring to? I've had Wallet for a long time, and didn't know there was anything more than paying with it at the few places that accept it. Also, can someone provide the link to the XDA thread?

Far as I know VZ blocks the app in the Play store. You either load a apk file to get around it or for some people were lucky to find a loop hole in getting it installed on the Galaxy Nexus. Even the main Paige posted stories on how to get installed but were later blocked. I never rooted mine and I was either too late to find out about the loop holes to work on mine.
