I have an htc hero that I have tried to update the OS by downloading from the htc website, every updater I download says
"The rom update utility cannot update your android phone. Please get the correct ROM update utility and try again."
How do I know which one to use? My phone info is:
Model Number: HTC Hero
Firmware Version: 1.5
Baseband Version:1.04.04.10.09
Kernel Version: 2.6.27-6bc66721
Build Number: 1.62.556.1 CL112492 release-keys
Software version: 1.62.556.1
This is NOT a sprint phone, my carrier is thumb cellular in Michigan.
I really need to update this thing (obviously), can anyone help?
