update issues

i noticed this the first time i tried to manually update but now it's really bugging me. When i manually go into one of my apps and press update it just continues to load and load and load. Even leaving it half an hour it still just show loading. The way i have been getting around it is by waiting until the notice showing that i have updates appears on my status bar and when it says update 2 apps or more i push the update button and there is no issue. If i try to update when there is only 1 app ready to be updated than it goes to the loading screen again. WHY IS THIS. I just bought a phonejoy which works great with my snes emulator but i bought it to use with my fpse. The phone joy website states that the controller works with fpse but when i go into input it does not give the option to tick phonejoy. I'm guessing this was added in a recent update of fpse but i can't manually update fpse because it just goes to loading screen. (SIGH)

Has anyone else had this manual update issue with the sgs2 and if so how on earth did you fix it

I got similar problems occasionally. I think its to do with the market. Maybe their servers are overloaded. Or phones data connection is slow. Anyway, can always work around it.

Can download through PC or use the phone browser to access the market that way.

folks if I were you I would go to Settings, Applications, Manage applications, downloaded and find the Market app itself, click on it and go into the screen and hit the button to Clear Cache button, try that. If no improvement come back and also hit the hit 'clear data'. These may stop it if it's a local issue.
