Update Market to play after Gingerbread upgrade

I just got around to updating my desire with the official HTC ROM for gingerbread. Everything works fine but "google play" reverted to the old "market". Do I just wait for an OTA update to sort this out or can I force it in some way ?
Checked for updates in the "About" menu in settings. Have also cleared the cache for market.

Posted here as the phone is not rooted.

I have done the self same thing, and I am pleased it has reverted!

Is there any reason to get to like the new google play? I hated it!

I have the same situation. I was just wondering whether there is an advantage in upgrading to Google Play from the "old" market or not. Is there?
