Help update problem

I have root and the lag fix. i tried the update but it failed. i undid root and tried and it failed again. i undid the lag fix also and its still failing. any advice on what to do?

Which "lag fix"?

There is no "the" lagfix. There are numerous hacks out there, all calling themselves "lagfixes", all doing things slightly different, and I'm not sure any of them uninstall 100% cleanly. Likely some of the lingering changes are causing the update process to fail because it's not seeing things in the state it's expecting them to be, so it aborts versus bricking your phone.

Try using Kies to install the update as opposed to doing OTA. Kies worked for me. Look up the thread about it.

Did u reset your phone after removing the lag/root?
