Help update problem

I've been waiting for jelly bean for my HTC one x and now when I check for updates instead of saying I need to wait 24 hrs to check again it says I need to wait like -300 hrs. Why is it doing this n how do I fix it?? All help is appreciated. Thanx

Possibly the update is not yet out for your device yet. Just what I think.

Are you AT&T? I'm pretty sure I read that if you over use the check for update button, they'll put a temp block on it. One of the AT&T guys should be able to confirm though.

Come to think of it, it happened with my Inspire one time I believe.
