Update Problems...

I keep getting update messages on my phone, but when I reboot it to install the updates they won't install.

My phone is rooted and I have ClockWorkMod for my recovery, but I don't know if that's what is affecting why the updates won't install.

If possible I'm wondering if there's a way to get rid of ClockWorkMod and go back to the factory recovery without wiping data from my phone.
