"Boost Mobile HTC Evo Design 4G Availability Update: You may be aware that some shipments of HTC devices had been temporarily delayed due to U.S. Customs which may briefly delay the initial availability of the HTC EVO Design 4G. The Customs issues have been resolved and we expect the device to be available for purchase next week. I think because of this some of our shipments for Virgin Mobile may be impacted as well. The first wave made it but, Now they are delaying all following shipments due to customs.

This was copied and pasted from a direct channel portal.

This is affecting all HTC devices at the current time according to my regional representative. It's a hassle I know but, Everyone hang in there!

Okay just read that US Customs have released HTC devices 2 days ago. It included the EVO 4G LTE the One X i'm guessing if was HTC it was getting held. Hopefully we can start seeing some of these pre-orders ship.

yesterday, Virgin Mobile launched the HTC EVO V 4G on its new 4G WiMax network. However, it seems as though the phone has stumbled out of the gates as customers are having a hard time purchasing the phone. We heard yesterday, directly from Virgin Mobile, that the phone would indeed launch but that it was affected by the patent issues that have delayed the HTC EVO 4G LTE release date on Sprint and the availability of the HTC One X on AT&T.

Yeah my order was cancelled like some people's orders yesterday. Gave up and ordered from VM's website. Said expected to be shipped tomorrow but who knows at this point.

I'm thinking it will be available by next week again. It only takes about approximately a week to get the shipments running again. They've already resolved all of the customs issues. Now it's just a matter of having those held shipments getting on their way to us here in the USA. =]

They've already jumped the hurdle called customs. Now it's just a little waiting game.

Thanks for the updates people. I guess next week will be more promising maybe..... Well on the other hand I get to continue using my high speed Intercept (sarcasm).

Okay, I'm totally caving in. I'm just going to put my Triumph on the $35 dollar plan and pay today. I can't live off this Blackberry anymore for my Boost Line.

At least I won't have to restart the plan if I'm on the up to date beyond talk plan. I was on the $40 dollar plan previously.

So I won't feel so much need to rush this Evo in, It'll work for now.
I don't like being this impatient...

I heard when you switched it killed your current month of service.

This is exactly why I hate software patents...

I ordered mine from VM last night and they gave me a shipping date from June 1st to June 4th. We'll see if it actually ships by then.

That's what mine says. As long as I get it by the 11th I'll be alright.
