So I bought the samsung vitality a long time ago after that I went to the Samsung s3 over a year ago and have been theming for that phone for a little while... anyhow I pulled out my old phone and decided to theme it.

So here you go my Purp Nurp Theme for Open Android 2.3.20. EXT4

This theme will not work on any other rom.

Install Instructions: make a back up first then..
1. download purp nurp theme zip
2. place on root of sd card
3. boot to recovery
4. install zip from sd card
5. reboot

themed supersu in zip. just grant it permissions and you can delete sueruser if you'd like. SuperSU is smaller in size And It will keep Root on your phone.

p.s. dont need to update supersu for gingerbread, the update is for android 4.2.2 and 4.3

slightly themed free root browser (signed install) just download and install like a normal app. make sure to check allow installation of non market apps in Settings/Applications/unknown sources

themed miui player, use root browser to install. push to system apps then fix permissions to rw-r--r--

if you could see clearly... in the camera.....the button to switch from camera to video you can see where you use another part of the image (overlaps each other). It is between the button to switch from camera to video and the video icon.

I noticed that. Its weird tho because its a single png. I guess if I used a pic that was more uniform the overlapping would be less noticeable. I kinda like how that came out tho. Glad you like the theme.

Thanks and yeah neither did I, I just thought it could be clocked at 990 MHz the least but that guy went over that.

I've downloaded it straight to my phone and flashed it in cwm, running OA, but when I reboot, it doesn't show the theme, it only shows the default OA ROM. I even tried mounting /system

Sounds like a bad download maybe. I'll download the theme and test the download again myself. In the mean time try downloading to your computer then transfer the zip to your sd card. Dev host hasn't been the most reliable for downloads lately. Edit: Also check the md4 number and see if it matches against your download. Its on the download page below the description on Dev host

Alright, I'll try the computer method and see what happens, see you on the other side.

EDIT: Got the same exact outcome when using a computer, downloaded the file twice with the computer and phone, still no luck, trying to get this to work, the theme look amazing and I plan to keep it on my Admire for a while. Friend's will be do jealous, lol, but yeah. Did it flash correctly for you? The script works fine, just doesn't apply the theme.

Ok this is the rom I made the theme for http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=587926 just to be sure we're on the same page. There are two versions ext4 and non ext4. Try ext4. That's the one I made the theme for

Ohh, Im on the RFS, so no EXT4, my phone and EXT4 are lightning and water, and a lot more thunder! They just don't mix. Maybe its because of different file systems? Could you possibly get it ported to RFS eventually?

I maybe could. You will lose data and such. Have to factory reset and install it. But you'll be themed.

Got all the important stuff backed up, and it's my play-around phone anyway. It's been wiped more than an infant. This theme looks really nice, and I want it bad. Do what you've got to do to make it available if you can.

So, I think this is the Format Version? Since I had to wipe stuff, I din't fully understand that. But I downloaded it from the official thread with the updated link.

by the way if you want CWM 6.0.3.2 to work and be able to use EXT4 just flash CWM 5.0.2.8 over 5.0.2.7 reboot recovery and install stock++ which you can get here: http://androidforums.com/admire-all...-stock-2-3-6-rom-updated-links-4-27-13-a.html

THEN REBOOT RECOVERY AND BOOT INTO YOUR PHONE NORMALLY... WHEN IT GETS TO THE LOCK SCREEN IT MAY SAY TOUCH TO BEGIN DO THAT AND THEN SKIP ADDING THE GOOGLE ACCOUNT.... TURN OFF YOUR PHONE AND BOOT INTO CWM AND FLASH 6.0.3.2 AND THEN REBOOT INTO RECOVERY AGAIN AND THEN FLASH THE ROM YOUR DESIRE OR KEEP THAT ONE!
