Root Update to 2.2 without unrevokedforever?

Hi- I've been reading so much that my head is getting fried. I've rooted my phone without applying s-0ff. I want to flash Skyraider 3.0. As I understand I must first upgrade the radio. My question is do I have to apply s-off before I upgrade radio and flash rom? I thought I did but then read a post that said no.

For the 2.0 radio you don't have to apply s-off. For the 2.15 radio you DO have to apply unrEVOked forever (s-off).

I am using 2.0 radio and you do not need S-Off

Thanks for fast back. I'm reluctant to apply s-off cause it can't be undone. Is the 2.15 radio much better. Also, I think I read that the flashing is much easier it you go with unrevokedforever. That true?

i dunno how easy the 2.0 radio is, but to do unrevoked forever and then the 2.15 radio took me literally less than five minutes.

be careful of the 2.0 radio, it has bricked some people, make sure you dont apply twice.

Since crackers8199 said that the 2.15 is easy then neither are difficult. I did the 2.05 no problem.
