Update to ICS? (newb here)

I cannot seem to be able to find anything on Google. Strange, really...

Sorry for the newb question.

How in the world do I get ICS on my ATRIX 2? I don't know how it goes on Android phones...

Its not available yet, although ICS has been out for over 4 months. Google releases it and then you wait for your carrier to add all their bloatware to it and make it work with their UI, then they have to test it and then you (hopefully) get it. Motorola has said they are updating your phone, you just have to wait...

About twenty minutes ago, I found an official list by Motorola showing where their phones are at in terms of getting ICS. Guess the ATRIX 2 is expected to have it in Q3. Still a while away. Ah well.

And 3.0 is for tablets, right?

Yes, 3.0 is Honeycomb and its for tablets.

Alright, I think I'm caught up then.

Sans rooting and modding, I just have to wait for the official release. And once it is released, I can simply use the System Updater in the Settings?
