Update to Kitkat

I want to update my camera to Kitkat, as I use it for more than just the camera! I was wondering if the software from a S3/4/5 could be used on it, does anyone know?

Probably not, because no one is ready to permanently brick the camera. But an educated guess says that that's what would happen if you try.
