Root Update Today

I have notifications of an update. I rooted my device and removed the apps that I do not want. Will this update re-install any of the bloatware I removed? Will it remove root access?

I went ahead and did the update. I know usually that is a bad idea for a rooted device but there isn't much on here that isn't stock for my device. The update did not change my root status or reinstall anything that I had removed from the device that was supposed to be a factory installed app

I'm also rooted and went ahead and did the update after seeing your post. After the update finished installing, I checked my software version and noticed that it hadn't changed. Did you check your software version to see if yours changed. I don't think that the update installed on my phone.

I did notice that because I rooted before the update, I was not able to get the QuickMemo portion of the update. Would have been pretty nifty to have but that's the price I will pay

The QuickMemo app doesn't show in the app drawer. Press both volume keys at the same time to use it. You can also take screenshots with it.

Nice that's awesome i naturally thought that rooting didn't allow that to install...can't wait for stable cwm already..
