Root Update while rooted?

Haha yeah. LiIon batteries can be a pain like that
And yes, both should work with the Epic 4G Touch.

If you take your phone(s) to a Sprint store, they should replace your E4GT battery for free (just be sure to be nice to the customer service rep!).

Too late for that lol. So rather than start a new thread ill ask here. How to I update, now that im rooted?

Since your rooted, there's really 2 options you have

1) flash the stock recovery and take the official update via kies (kills your current root) meaning you'll need to re root

2) flash gb27 modem/firmware and (if you wish to do so)a rom based off of gb27 (this method I highly recommend)

Give me a few and I'll set you up with some links

I can't get the site to load, so you'll have to follow this link to obtain the gb27 modem

Here is a gb27 based rom I think looks cool

JellyVerse

So it the best would be to flash that ROM you posted that is GB27 based since I'm on the Baked Bean ROM right?

Very nice! Now my question since I'm on FI27 and unroot to stock FI27 will connecting it to Kies update to FI24 then update to GB27??
