Massive update on my Note 3 today (UK Vodafone). It restarted the device two or three times during the update and at the end it gave me a box that said:

The new security policy has been applied. - current version: 0016

erm?

Any ideas on what this 'new security policy' could be please chaps? Google gets me nowhere on this.

The update seemed like it was doing something else too. it checked all my apps for compatibility (against what, I don't know. Presumably the new security policy).

I was on MJ7 before and I am still on MJ7 afterwards. Nothing in the software info screen appears to have changed at all.

I expect it will break current root exploits in favor of Knox. That may be the security feature they're talking about.
