This happened a while ago, however I still can't find a fix. I cannot unroot or re-root my phone. What happened was that my phone for some odd reason went ballistic, and I didn't pay attention until I returned home. It updated while being rooted... Why it did it, only god knows.
It says it's rooted to apps like Z4root and Universal. I even tried Superoneclick. The superuser is still there and won't recognize any apps. I don't know how to remove it.
Any help would be appreciated. By the way I'm doing this post from my Optimus.
