Help Updated and now having low memory issues

I have waded through the forum and I know many of you had issues before the update with the low memory issues. I knew I shouldn't have updated to Gingerbread. My Dinc was working fine. I updated and it was working so fast and great though.

And now, recently, I am getting low memory warnings and sometimes a system low message and security exception message. No clue what that means. I have done everything everyone suggested, clear the texts, delete apps, etc. To no avail.

So, am I now screwed? Should I just suck it up until March when I can get a new phone?

Just wondering if I'm going to have these issues forever now. Especially since I though GB fixed those issues, not caused them.

Doing a factory reset will definitely solve your problem if you are confident you've gone through all the caches for your apps. (Also may want to clear data for some of them)

Thanks, I'll go read the other thread. Strangely enough, this started after my update and two factory resets. I didn't even put back all my apps on. I moved many to my SD card and cleared everything out, including all my texts, and nothing.

I'd say whenever I hit my home button now, it refreshes for about 10 seconds telling me it's "loading". I'm assuming this is part of the low memory issue.

Hopefully some of the cache clearing will help , but this makes me even more ready for a new phone.

Cache is storage, your issue is with RAM/memory. One fix is to use a different launcher, thatseveral others let you keep android from closing the launcher.
