Updated ICS info!

Now that this version of ANDROID is on the GOOGLE NEXUS 7 tablet,& soon available on the XOOM, anyone care to speculate if we'll see this instead of 4.0 ICS?

I doubt they'd skip a whole version, especially since they've probably been working on pics this whole time.... I wish we could get droidrh3ory a xyboard so he can work his magic :/

There's a leaked ICS ROM,out since 7/3/12,that's showed up in a couple of other forums.

We should be seeing an official release soon.

I'll post links momentarily.

4616301[/URL]]It looks like its a one way trip on either versions of the tablet right?

Looks that way.I'll give VZW a chance to officially release this, unless they drag their feet & this version is relatively stable/bug-free.

The consequences of something going wrong w/a tablet aren't nearly as dire as w/a phone (at least for me),so,I'm not going to set on the sidelines for very long, one way or the other.

I for one am NOT updating to any other version......I have already lost flash support on my phone after updating to ICS. I'm not going to lose it on my tablet also. I am staying right where I am on Gingerbread.

You're running GINGERBREAD on your XYBOARD Tablet?

Sorry. No, I miss spoke.... Honeycomb. I'm staying with Honeycomb. I was thinking of my phone when typing.

No problem. If you're concerned about losing FLASH-SUPPORT w/the upcoming ICS upgrade, just check out the forums on MOTOROLA'S website for official spec information or perhaps XDA DEVELOPERS, as a leaked ICS ROM has been out for a while now.
XOOMFORUMS.COM also has an active XYBOARD community,if you're looking for up-to-date information & input from other users.

Not trying to scare off users from this site, quite the contrary. Perhaps you could steer some traffic to this site, when visiting the others, as we would welcome more user experiences in the XYBOARD FORUMS here @ A/F.

Downloading ICS @ this moment on my DROID XYBOARD 10.1. At least that's what I'm guessing it is, judging by the size of the download (330± MB).
