So my phone that was screwed up from the gingerbread update came back and its still running gingerbread!! I'm wondering if anyone who has an updated phone can give me there build number and other info so I can see if its different. This is what it is running now:

Android version: 2.3.3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-perf+intg@infba00097 #2
Build number: GRI40
Software version: LG-C710h-V20a

Edit: It seems to be working so far.

Update: The phone still has exactly the same problem. Back to Telus I guess.

Sorry to hear that. Did they just send you back the same phone? I used the Telus Exchange program (Best Buy/Future Shop) and had to get 4 refurbed phones before I got one I was happy with. The first 3 came with V10c (which I tried to update and ruined with v20a) and the last one came with V10d. The latest LG update for this phone has now been reverted back to v01d on the LG site. I would suggest you ask Telus to send you a V10c/d phone and be done with it. FYI, for the last phone the Exchange program tried to bill me $200 even though I was still under warranty. It took a few phone calls, but the charge was eventually reversed. Good luck.
