This probably goes in the metro forum, but I just updated my prl on the lg motion 4g from what it came with (I didn't take note of which one) to 3041.
Speeds recently went up to 40-45 with no prl or updates of any kind after being at 5-8 for two years (since about a month after the motion first came out) . Also I updated to the latest g firmware before updating the prl and the speed was still ~40. I am in north Atlanta.
How can I change the prl? Do I have to use a certain Qualcomm program? Its a scary program to use, I don't want to brick this phone.
