Root Updated to 2.2 with root..

and I got bricked

I had the "phone-!-computer" screen, but now I can get to the download screen. where it's stuck. I tried using the Odin3 one-click to put everything back to stock, but that didn't work.

Any ideas? Or is there a better forum to post this in?

Hey thanks for the link.

I downloaded the Odin link that is in that post, it could see my phone (button on the left lit up yellow with "COM:3") but that was it. If I clicked "Ready" then nothing happened. I was connected with the USB and was in download mode with the black/yellow screen with the Android man digging.

I tried for hours yesterday (on my only day off this week ) to fix this thing to no avail. I could be android "slow" (totally possible.) but the only thing I could get it to do is go from the "phone-!-computer" screen to the download screen.

We called Samsung last night and they said to send it in but that takes SIX DAYS! (how do we live without our phones for six days?! ) and I found someone online who can fix phones but he wants $100.. I feel like it's something I should be able to fix on my own with a little bit of help so I can't quite justify spending that much just yet.

Any other ideas?? Maybe I'm missing some small crucial step in the process?
