The apps are Xperia ports. And I found the issue. For the purposes I needed there was an extra mount,unmount data procedure in the room borking everything. It's located at the top of the script. Tried adding everything in using that procedure but it never worked,tried leaving it alone and adding my own and that never worked,so I deleted the first mount,unmount procedure and left mine intact and it works now. Not exactly sure why the first procedure is in the spirit rom script as it doesn't appear to do anything other than mount briefly then unmount. Figured removing it would fix the issue and it did. Apps are installing to /data/app now.
