Help Updates Notification

After the load of bloatware was installed on my Optimus V last week I notice that everday I start it up it says 1 new update available but when I tap it no updates come up. Is anyone else experiencing this?
 
I don't know if this is the same problem, but it tells me I have updates available for Facebook and Google+. When I go to update them, it just stays on the "Loading..." screen and never updates. Similarly if I choose 'Update All' it has the loading circle but never finishes. I did read that other link - Is this just an issue with updates showing up that aren't really updates? This is the only issue I've had with my phone thus far, and while it isn't major at all it is somewhat frustrating. Any insight would be appreciated. :)
 
Try what I did. It seems to stop popping up with that annoying update now! :)

1) Settings
2) Applications
3) Manage Applications
4) Hit Market
5) Hit Clear Data

That's what the linked thread says to do and it worked fine for me!

It didn't make the notification go away, but the updates are now actually installing, so it's all good. :)
