Updating CNM 9.7 tablet

Hi,
I volunteer in my local library, assisting customers with IT.
One of my customers has a CNM 9.7 Android tablet, bought from Argos, which is currently on Android 4.0.2

CNM went out of business last January (about three months after he bought it!).

Is there any way I can update to Android 4.4.4?
 
You'd need to find the actual manufacturer for any possible firmware upgrades. Unfortunately for CnM, along with their demise, the Chinese manufacturers are unknown. CnM was just an importer of budget products, who sold mostly through Argos.
